IT Support Analyst

Our client is a Global Professional Services company, with attractive renumeration package
Salary range HK$20,000 to HK$30,000


  • Act as the first point of contact and provide initial customer support
  • Log and monitor calls till closure in the Remedy Helpdesk system
  • Transfer tickets to the appropriate third level support teams as required
  • Provide additional coverage for other regional offices due to holidays or leaves
  • Share relevant information within the Service Desk community (e.g. update and maintain knowledge databases, distribute urgent information by email)
  • Ensure awareness of new hardware and software releases and tools introduced at a global level
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Testing/Project Assistance
  • Perform Application Testing and provide feedback.
  • Participate and assist in IT projects (such as Blackberry upgrade, office move and expansion, etc.)
  • End User Training
  • Provide new starters training
  • Provide training on new applications or devices
  • Assist 3rd level with creation and on-going development of User Tip Sheets and Training materials

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • At least 4 years experience in IT service desk / technical support role, preferably in Professional Services Firm or Multinational Company
  • Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
  • ITIL foundation certification preferred, proven skills & experience in this area
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Blackberry hand held device and Video conference. Experience in Citrix will be an advantage
  • Experience with document management system will be an advantage
  • Good initiative, able to work well under pressure, good user relations, able to work well either on their own, or part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
