Role Introduction

Under the Programme Manager, this position is responsible for the development and deployment of talent programmes to support the IT and Digital leadership strategy.

This role shall contribute to design, develop, orchestrate, run and optimize various Digital & IT talent programmes to meet the dynamic, changing needs of the company.

Key Responsibilities

IT Talent Programmes Management

  • Manage the talent management frameworks for the IT and Digital department as a critical pillar to enable the Digital Leadership strategy.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of the Digital & IT Graduate Trainee and Internship program including acquisition, learning & development, engagement, motivation and retention to ensure a healthy talents pipeline.
  • Collaborate with line managers and the learning academy to manage the performance and learning of program participants to fully unleash their potentials.
  • Coach and mentor IT and Digital talent in their career development balancing the individuals’ aspiration and the organization’s need.
  • Lead on assessment of people discussion, career planning, succession planning requirements and the implementation of appropriate strategies and solution.
  • Research, conceptualize and develop roadmaps to deploy a range of talent management initiatives including Hi potentials and other vocational and leadership programs to propel our people capabilities for enabling our business goals.
  • Define and develop metrics to measure program success.
  • Prepare training needs analysis and organize learning and development opportunities as required.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the formulation of the enterprise curriculum in promoting a digital culture and drive innovation mindset.
  • Introduce best practices in the operational execution of talent management.


General Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or technology related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in talent management or organisational development; or in I&T industry with passion and experience in talent development.
  • Strong in project management and change management, with ability to execute in a dynamic and agile environment
  • Experience in designing, implementing and evaluation of training and development on technology-related discipline is a plus.
  • Proven experienced people leader who can demonstrate the ability to engage, inspire and motivate others
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and influencing skills, with strengths in relationship and stakeholder management.
  • People-oriented, proven ability to effectively coach, consult with, and advise individuals and teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills in English and Cantonese.
  • Airline knowledge is beneficial.
