DFIN/GBI/MPA Mission Statement & Core Functions:

  • In charge of financial analysis of MARK and SBLs with client axis
  • Building a performance-based view on certified financial aggregates (NBI, Budget/Costs, Scarce Resources, RWA…)
  • Providing strategic business analysis (forecasting estimates, budgeting, business development...)
  • NBI: analysis, comments (flash, detailed, quarterly), weekly estimates (conso and trends)
  • Direct costs & HC: monthly/quarterly analysis, with focus on discretionary costs
  • Scarce Resources: certification & comments / explanations
  • Performance dashboards: from bi-weekly to annual, with regional and client views
  • Generation/creation of bonus budget
  • Budget-like: quarterly P&L account (FPR), annual budget, business reviews, PFS
  • Permanent business intelligence: benchmarks, relevant articles in press, peer results, analysts’ views
  • Accompany business evolutions: e.g., JVs, re-org’s, NPCs


Junior Market Activity Performance Analyst: Main duties and responsibilities:

Focus on the profitability analysis production within MPA:
  • Produce bi?weekly & monthly analysis for MARK at APAC and entity levels, including qualitative comments
  • Produce reporting to review and maintain the FPV structure of MARK activities, including oversight of GOP closures
  • Analyse and certify the NBI, SC, costs/HC, budgets, RWA and scarce resources consumption for MARK APAC
  • Produce a suite of dashboards to analyse team and client performance
  • Implement and maintain JV profit sharing agreements
  • Provide analysis to assist the evolution and any restructures of the MARK business
Act as an entry point for BLs:
  • Attend BL meetings and present reports as required
  • Ensure that BLs receive only relevant, accurate and focused performance reports, and decommission all others
  • Collect and consolidate information, and act as a conduit between senior MARK management and the BLs, as necessary
Be a responsible member of the team:
  • Ensure adequate resources are always in place, including back up for team members
  • Ensure all procedures are comprehensively documented
  • Act to maintain alignment of roles and processes within MPA locally and globally
  • Encourage collaboration and communication between MPA and MARK BLs, particularly with COOs
  • Define, propose and lead initiatives to simplify and change inefficient processes
  • Efficiently organise your workload and prioritise projects where necessary
  • Anticipate and identify issues early, and confidently raise them to management
  • Set a high standard of conduct risk?awareness (behaviour, work ethic, cultural)

  • Fluent English (compulsory)
