Junior Research Associate - Entities

THE ROLE

As a junior research associate for our Entities Research team, your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for company data validation and verification of company profiles entered in Dealogic internal systems and their compliance with Dealogic Corporate Analytics criteria, internal entry guidelines and standards.
  • Involved in a regular quality assurance checks, built around entry rules and standards
  • Perform checks on data as scheduled, to ensure errors are captured and rectified.
  • Provide support to the Client Data Team on all issues with entity data identified through the process of mapping entity profiles to client private data.
  • Investigate and resolves  issues raised by Client Data Team, within pre-defined time frame of delivery.
  • Support business (research, other internal teams or clients) in data related enquires raised with Entities team through internal CKB system: works on non - sensitive enquiries with easy to medium grade of difficulty.
  • Participate in ad-hoc or regular data related projects, to ensure entity data is up to the standard and in -line with Dealogic guidelines and market trends and expectations.

 

Data and Product

  • Verification of entity profiles and top fee payers
  • Quality Assurance checks
  • Entity related data projects
  • Reconciliation of entity data with reference data, to ensure correct mapping of Dealogic entity to the 3rd party provider of securities or financial data information

Client Data Team support

  • Investigating and resolving issues with entity data brought up by Client Data Team through internal mapping process to client entity data (duplicates, hierarchies, name changes, other issues) to ensure appropriate match can be obtained for client entities

Internal and External client support

  • Resolving non-sensitive and easy to medium grade difficulty entity related data enquires raised through internal CKB platform and communicating the outcome to requestor or originator of enquiry.

 

ABOUT YOU

You recently graduated your Bachelor's Degree, you have a passion for accurate and timely research, and you are looking to kick-start your career in the financial sector. You are an enthusiastic team member with a systematic, creative and open approach to data gathering and data management!

  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese
  • Understanding of (or strong interest in) financial markets
