Junior Sous Chef

The incumbent will assist the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef & Chef de Cuisine in managing day-to-day food production and operations of a specified kitchen section. He / she will also monitor the standard of food quality and quantity as well as overseeing the hygiene and security standards.


  • Higher Diploma or with equivalent vocational training certificate. Certificate in recognized food handling / sanitation institution is highly preferred
  • 4 years' culinary experience in western luxury hotels and/or fine dining restaurants with 2 years in supervisory level
  • Experience in new patisserie / new restaurant / new café opening is an advantage
  • Well-versed in kitchen hygiene, creative and service-oriented
  • Passionate and with sound knowledge in French cuisine is preferable
  • A team player with good leadership skills, strong communication and people management skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, attention to details, creative and with innovative ideas
  • Good command of spoken English and Cantonese
