As a Key Account Manager, you need to define and implement overall strategy for the designated key accounts development to elevate the relationship to become business partners with our corporate customers and drive our key initiative. On customer side, you have to build strong rapport with key account customers and take the lead to drive top-down approach by penetrating their senior management level.
Understand customers’ needs and transform the needs into our business opportunities and get buy-in from key accounts on Hilti’s offers and maintain a frequent communication level with various teams internally to drive new business with our key accounts and key projects penetration in the market. Besides that, pro-actively build strong network with key players in construction industry and related associations.
Sometimes, you have to conduct seminars/ training/ workshops for customers to raise awareness and create understanding of all existing and new Hilti products and work closely with other sales team and Account Managers to tackle new business potentials and identify opportunities.
