The Hong Kong Baptist University Kindergarten (HKBU-K), located on the University Campus, was established in 2000 as a self-financed university-affiliated kindergarten to facilitate learning, teaching and research in early childhood education. The HKBU-K, managed by the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division (ECEED) of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), adopts play-based learning and values whole-child development for its 300 children studying in the morning/afternoon (Cantonese) and full-day bilingual (Cantonese and English) sessions.

The appointee is expected to plan, implement and evaluate the curriculum and activities for children of the assigned class; to document children’s learning and prepare children’s portfolio; to lead extra-curricular activities; and to communicate with parents about their children’s progress.
Applicants must be qualified teachers with relevant working experience, preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education / English / Language Education. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in using English as the medium of instruction to teach young children.
Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
The appointee is expected to report for duty in August 2018.
