Lead, Marketing Planning



The Lead, Marketing Planning is responsible to act as the centre of excellence on marketing for the Fundraising Dept., to lead, drive and develop marketing plans to enable various streams of fundraising to achieve its targets financially and in terms of trust and loyalty. The key scope of responsibilities includes:

  • Working closely with Fundraising Managers, to develop marketing strategy and its implementation plan to enhance results of fundraising campaigns/events and add brand & goodwill value
  • Project manage all elements of the marketing plan incl. analysis of results
  • Lead digital marketing strategy for both income generation and donor loyalty enhancement, and provide professional counsel and service for the Fundraising Dept.
  • Lead a team to create donor-friendly content and effective design to enhance marketing value of the fundraising campaigns/events
  • Act as a hub tor the provision of marketing (online & offline) knowledge, counsel and service. This includes the selection of service providers, the coordination of any market research and studies or the supervision of agency service, as needed



  • Degree holder in advertising, marketing, business or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or business development in agencies or corporates or international NGOs. Demonstrated experience of digital marketing is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills to drive effective results and provide market assessment
  • Able to put donors at the centre of communication; excellent command of English & Chinese as well as digital marketing language
  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to apply marketing and brand to achieve business results
