Learning & Development Senior Programme Manager - Wealth Management

Position purpose
To identify, develop and implement learning and development strategies for the business. Collaborating with the regional learning teams, be responsible for the implementation and delivery of learning products and services . Engaging and consulting with the key business leaders and HR stakeholders : plan, design, develop, co-ordinate and evaluate fit for purpose and cost-effective learning solutions, particularly in the area of Wealth Management - to ensure that all staff responsible in their relevant segments are equipped with necessary competencies in their line of service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying, designing and executing specific L&D programmess (particularly for Wealth Management)
  • Engaging and consulting with the key business leaders and HR stakeholders to develop and deliver fit for purpose and cost-effective learning solutions.
  • Training Needs Analysis & Course Identification
  • Course Catalogue/Training Calendar
  • Course Administration
  • E-Learning Administration
  • CPT Administration
  • Maintain budgets and relationships with vendors and consultants

Regional L&D Responsibilities include:

  • Consulting and engaging with key stakeholders (internal and external) to identify learning needs and propose right learning solutions that are aligned with the organisation’s objectives
  • Develop, design and deliver high impact learning solutions for Wealth Management
  • Propose customization and improvement for existing programs

Program Management under own responsibility:

  • Define: check content based on training needs analysis.
  • Design programme contents that address the needs of the business
  • Identify a list of trainers (internal or external trainers) that will deliver the necessary programmes
  • Liaison with external providers to negotiate cost effective learning solutions
  • Execution of training programmes
  • Work on suitable pre and post programme initiatives to ensure embedding and effectiveness of the training solutions.
  • Prepare regular feedback evaluation reports
  • Administrative follow-up in terms of programme logistics, training materials and nomination of participants.

Transversal Activities

  • Develop and maintain fruitful relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers through planned meetings, conference calls and collaboration with learning projects
  • Maintain a network of best in class training providers and share with the L&D Community within the region
  • Contribute to the communication strategy through articles posted on newsletters and internal websites
  • Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management.

KPI:

CPT Reporting

  • Timely reporting and monitoring for all CPT requirements, i.e.
    • Register those who have to comply with CPT requirements for CPT eligible courses
    • Maintain record of attendance
    • Update Compliance on status when requested

RM Certification programme

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and local L&D for design/implementation of programme.
  • End to end programme management
    • Communication / Broadcast to announce WM available courses.
    • Monitor, administer, arrange for payments and inform participants of course confirmation
    • Liaise with training providers for course logistics
    • Manage all on-site logistical arrangements, including all assessments and final assessments
    • Collate & analyse training evaluation
    • Track to ensure completion of Certification programme and maintain training records

Technical skills
  • 7 – 12 years of proven track record in L&D within the Financial Industry in designing and delivering high impact programmes (knowledge of Wealth Management will be an advantage)
  • Project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills (basic statistical techniques)
  • Evaluation techniques (Kirkpatrick model)
  • Knowledge and usage of e-learning design and delivery
  • Knowledge and usage of LMS or HRIS
  • Microsoft office – Excel & Powerpoint
