Our Requirements

Join
our high performing, dynamic and busy Corporate Finance team as a Legal
Assistant to help us deliver a world class service to our clients. For the
right person, this role provides an exciting opportunity to work with a team of
committed professionals at the forefront of change in the legal industry.

The Role

This role will focus on a wide variety of legal assignments but which do not
necessarily need to be done by qualified lawyers, such as document review, due
diligence and business development activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and reporting on contracts (in Chinese) and other information as part of corporate due diligence exercises
  • Drafting and producing legal documentation and standard forms
  • Managing electronic data sites, uploading and ordering documentation and liaising with third parties
  • Providing transactional support on corporate projects
  • Checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content
  • Assisting with post completion tasks on legal projects
  • Researching on legal Issues
  • Collecting and compiling market and company information what we are looking for


Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A law degree or similar qualification
  • A strong command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to their work
  • Effective personal organisational and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple demands
  • The ability to work to tight timescales with a sense of urgency
  • Common sense, commerciality and the ability to exercise sound judgement
