Legal & Compliance Manager

AMAC Human Resources Consultants

  • Completed LL.B./J.D or equivalent legal studies; ideally a qualified
solicitor (but not a must)
  • At least 4 years' experience gained from law firm, banking industry
and/or sizable financial institution
  • Excellent knowledge and exposure in the areas of banking and
commercial law, knowledge of PRC laws would be an asset
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and
  • Self-motivated, analytical and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • (Candidate with more experience may be considered as Senior Legal &
Compliance Manager.)

Job Duties:
  • Support the branch's legal and compliance risk management function to
ensure its compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Draft and review a broad range of business and financial related
contracts, agreements and documents
  • Provide professional legal advice to different business units and
senior management, respond to legal enquiries from internal
departments on daily and/or project basis
  • Liaise with external counsels, regulatory and statutory bodies when
  • Work with representatives from other departments on developing and
conforming to legal requirements
