Our client is a Hong Kong headquartered group with significant operations regionally and overseas. As a business they focus on multiple sectors such as logistics, consumer goods, FMC, property and investments.

 

As a group they have a number of listed and private companies, varying in size and with geographical presence globally. The legal team is seen as part of the business team giving you access to strategic meetings and valued input from day one.

 

This is a power house name in Hong Kong who focus on regional markets as well as Europe and the US – excellent role.

 

The role:

  • You will work across various business units, supporting on all legal related issues and with direct stakeholder / external customer interaction
  • You will work on Cross-border legal work, from commercial to M&A to restructuring and compliance
  • Other issues will be part of your day to day such as corporate governance and litigation (local, regional, global)
  • Strong background in commercial work in Hong Kong, Regional and Overseas (UK/US)
  • Excellent hands on experience of cross-border transactions, as listed above

 

The requirements:

  • 6-10 PQE
  • Highly educated and ideally with international training
  • If coming from a law firm must have strong credentials in terms of law firm training and corporate background
  • If prior in-house then ideally working in technology or a HK conglomerate with a group led structure is ideal
