Lawyers in the department work on a broad range of transactions, perform research and due diligence, aid in financings and legal filings, deal with contracts and act as a gatekeeper to legal, regulatory and reputational risks of the Firm.
The successful candidate will join the Principalling Legal team which consists of a group of experienced lawyers supporting the investing and lending businesses of the Firm, including the Merchant Banking Division (MBD) in Asia-Pacific.
The lawyers on the team are supported by secondees and legal analysts. MBD is the primary center for Goldman Sachs' long-term principal investment activity.
