Objective of the Role
The Corporate Banking Regional Processing Centre (“CBRPC") is set-up in Rabobank Hong Kong to serve the region from one central location. There are three major services currently provided by three separate teams of CBRPC under the Corporate Banking Target Operating Model (“CB TOM").
As Loans & Agency specialist of the Agency Team of the department, his / her primary responsibilities are :
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Perform routine agency administration work for drawings, rollovers, interest rate fixings, payments and receipt of funds, circulation of information, etc.
Handle technical tasks in agency administration (e.g. waivers, amendments, default, etc.).
Safekeep original documents (for agency facilities only) in fire-proof cabinet
Liaise with external legal counsels & external professionals.
Answer internal /external enquiries, co-ordinate with the other teams to achieve certain tasks, etc.
Take all follow up actions for covenanted documents/conditions subsequent documents.
Preform the processing works for structured finance transactions and leveraged lease transactions.
Handle processing of loan sales/purchases.
Check manual reports/self-input diary.
Take on other duties from time to time as assigned by department head.
Perform processor’s functions on the following tasks in a professional manner:-
Review draft documents from an operational point of view.
Keep an up-to-date record and diarize all important dates relating to fees, availability, repayments, etc. in CBRPC’s Self-Input Diary.
Administer the facility including drawings, rollovers, interest rate fixings, payments and receipt of funds, circulation of information.
Keep records of each syndicate lender’s commitment and outstanding in the Agency Master Control File.
Ensure CP and security documentation are completed and safe-kept.
Notify syndicate lenders of any default which may come to the attention of the agent.
Ascertain and arrange for waiver as requested by the borrower.
Enter into some of the facility documents on behalf of syndicate lenders.
Follow up with the borrower/guarantor(s) the covenanted documents as required under the loan documents.
Perform any duties as required in the loan and related agreements and with the approval of the lenders, arrange for any amendments, waivers, extension or renewal.
Monitor different fund-flows with clients and involved parties under leveraged lease transactions and post the relevant entries in system.
Maintain diaries for events which are not captured by system.
Education & Required knowledge
Language : English & Chinese (written); English, Cantonese & Mandarin (spoken)
