Logistics Assistant Manager APAC


In charge of logistics & transportation over the Asia Pacific Region, you will report to both Group Supply Chain Vice President in France & Director of Operations APAC in Hong Kong. Responsible for the operational management of the inventory and local distribution in close relationship with a 3PL, you will handle daily operations and continuous improvements.

In direct communication with our partners, and suppliers, you will supervise the flows assuring the lead-time respect, cost control, and customer satisfaction. In charge of supply planning and replenishments, you will conceive and update the most efficient and economic methods to ensure the product’s transport from and to the warehouse.

You will supervise and ensure the shipments from France to our partners in APAC Region, including shipping docs control, follow up and incoterms knowledge.

Your main missions are:
  • Orders scheduling for a distribution network (retail, dealers, distributors)
  • Supervise daily 3PL operations
  • Monitor transportation and 3PL’ KPIs during monthly Steering Committees.
  • Demand & Distribution Planning
  • Organize inventory and storage quality control check regularly to identify the inventory condition of overage, shortage, loss or damage
  • Analyze data to monitor cost and performance
  • Coordinate and implement various logistic projects over APAC
  • Monitor shipping schedule, freight quotation, shipment consolidation, as well as arrange and liaise sea/air shipments with forwarders
  • Managing the import & export declarations for APAC countries.
  • Perform Ad Hoc duties assigned by the management
Your main qualities are rigour, autonomy, and reactivity. You are very good in communicating with an excellent capacity of coordination. Dealing with urgency situations is part of the success on this function.

You are a good fit since you are
  • A University graduate in Supply Chain with at least 5 years of operational experience
  • Experienced in Supply Chain & Retail Distribution operations
  • Experience in import to China is preferred.
  • Good understanding of international freight, incoterms and Duties & tax regulations
  • Excellent in oral & written communication thanks to your strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English (oral & written), French is a plus
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint...)
  • Knowledge of SAP or ERP / WMS is preferred
  • Proactive, Rigorous and autonomous are a must
