Logistics Executive, Asia (Clorox, Homecare, FMCG, MNC)


Position Summary:
This position is responsible for Customer Sales Order Management across agreed business operations in Asia. The role will take responsibility for ensuring customer sales orders are recorded, fulfilled, and delivered against the customer requirements. The Logistics Executive is responsible working with the Clorox International team, local DC's and Asia co-packers to supply our distributors and direct customers. Ensure the efficient use of the Clorox distribution providers to manage shipments to our customers and distributors in order to deliver products against customer requirements.

Key responsibilities:
Strategy and Execution

  • Engage in a growth culture by creating a continuous improvement and collaborative environment.
  • Ensure the team operates with degree of professionalism and complies with Clorox and local requirements.
  • Process sales orders and order management for the agreed customers within the Asia region.
  • Responsible for the tracking of inbound and outbound shipments to distributors, direct customers, and Clorox facilities.
  • Responsible for day to day flow of orders through any agreed 3PL providers and to ensure all operational requirement is met
  • Responsible for the efficient distribution of goods to customers in ASIA and other agreed businesses
  • Raw material order management for plant as required
  • Manage distributor and consumer care issues within the Asia region for Clorox products, including credit processing

Business Results

  • Manage and control distribution cost and service against agreed targets.
  • Manage order management process against agreed customer expectations.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to drive cost saving projects to achieve company target.
  • Explore and implement the cost saving projects to achieve company's CCEM
  • Engage with the planning team to ensure inventory holdings are maintained to support the business case fill rates.

Efficiency, Innovation and NPD

  • To document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), then review and update to improve efficiency
  • To align the SOP across the ASIA region and implement standard processes for order management
  • Work with the sales teams in ASIA to standardise sales order processing
  • Conduct regular continuous improvement and process effectiveness/efficiency reviews
  • Working with project managers to support new product development projects where required
  • Support business growth projects, working with Project teams where required

Communication and Networking

  • Work with the Planning team to ensure stock is available to supply to customer from our DC's
  • Work with the sales teams to ensure support of and understanding of the customer requirements
  • Work with logistics providers [3PL, inland transport, and ocean freight] on a daily basis to ensure performance is achieved against targets


  • Degree holder in logistics or other related discipline is preferred
  • Min 3-5 years in logistics supplier management
  • Strong understanding logistics networks, quality management and local distribution.
  • Knowledge on process of supply planning and logistics operation
  • Good understanding and capability in cost savings and continuous improvement
  • Fluency in written and verbal English; fluency in Mandarin preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Has a keen financial and cost sense.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
