Logistics Manager (buying office)

Our client is a France apparel & footwear buying office. To cope with their expansion in HK, they are looking for high caliber to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with suppliers, forwarders and other departments on shipments to ensure on time delivery
  • Manager and monitor Freight forwarders, compare and negotiate price to save costs and improve efficiency
  • Prepare inventory reports, review and develop SOP to ensure continuous improvement
  • Lead a team in Asia and coordinate with headquarter Import Department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics/Supply chain related discipline
  • 6-8 years experience in shipping or freight forwarding with at least 3 years management experience
  • Solid knowledge in shipping practice
  • Good communication skill to cope with senior management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS office
