M&A Manager

  • Degree holder in finance or related discipline with professional qualification (CPA, CFA) a plus
  • At least 5-6 years relevant experience in corporate finance firm investment banking or financial advisory firm with sound knowledge in Hong Kong listing rules
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis (developing financial models, analyzing financial statements)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Occasional travel will be required

Job Duties:

  • Analyze project opportunity, investigate feasibility, and help on structure and financial arrangements needed for its completion
  • Manage financial analysis and valuation components
  • Research and analyze new business opportunities and competitive dynamics
  • Presentation writing for new opportunities, budgets & financial forecast
  • Assist to structure tailor-made financing solutions for assets or equity acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, bridge financing, project financing, leveraged buyouts and other capital activities
  • Set up credit analysis framework with qualitative and quantitative approach for credit risk evaluation and monitoring
  • Conduct due diligence and market research
  • Carry out financial analysis, due diligence and take part in deal execution by liaison with external professional parties such as accountants, auditors, valuer, lawyers(including PRC legal), financial advisors and regulatory bodies
  • Perform post-investment monitoring
  • Prepare regular project update reports
  • Prepare legal documents and prospectuses
