Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Team Head to perform comprehensive operations related to loans and deposit routines including deposit placement, account opening, daily cheque clearing, direct debit, standing instructions, electronic banking and corporate loans disbursement
  • Examine and ensure account opening documents have been properly arranged to meet the compliance requirements.
  • Provide operational and processing support for loans & deposit and related client transactions e.g. balance transfer, cashier order, statement delivery, audit confirmation etc.
  • Ensure clients confidential data / CASA / Fixed Deposits transactions are processed efficiently and accurately;
  • Peruse loans documents and facilities agreement to process loan drawdown and other operation routines e.g. financial & regulatory reporting etc.
  • Responsible for Loans & deposit operation setup (i.e. re-engineering of Operation Procedures and workflow & policy manual; system upgrade & migration);
  • Identify process improvements to ensure a high level of customer service standards are achieved;
  • Participate in different projects including system enhancement/UAT, procedure review & streamlining including HK Inter-bank Clearing conducted
  • Perform ad hoc duties when required e.g. month end Head Office reconciliation, connected parties reporting etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in banking or business-related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years of banking experience in loans operations. Possess solid experience in dealing with CASA / Fixed deposit or cash account related operations especially electronic banking will be an advantage
  • A good team player, organized, detailed-minded, hardworking and able to work independently.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and customer services skills.
  • Proficient in PC applications, such as EXCEL, Powerpoint, and MS Office and Chinese word processing;
  • Familiar with HKMA guidelines and relevant regulations e.g. Code of Banking Practice of HKAB
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent English, Cantonese and Putonghua
