Job Descriptions:

Management Trainee Programme 2018 is a 18-month programme designed to nurture and develop potential management talents to become the next generation of our Management Team.

During the 18-month programme, the trainees will undergo an intensive training process including coaching, on-the-job training, mentoring and job rotations across different business units and functions to obtain necessary skills and knowledge.


1st Stage – Familiarization with SML


2nd Stage – Job-rotation under one of the below key corporate functions

  • Business-driven
    • Sales
    • Key Account Management
    • Product Development


  • Operational
    • Global Compliance 
    • Global Operations and Production 
    • Global Procurement and Sourcing
    • RFID Execution


  • Technological
    • Information Technology


3rd Stage – Placement


Job Requirements:

  • Graduates of Bachelor or Master degree from business / fashion related / industrial engineering / information technology disciplines
  • 0 to 2 years working experience in the related industry
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career in the garment trims / manufacturing / information technology industry
  • Energetic, Diligent and willing to learn
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Willing to relocate to Mainland China or other countries for long- or short-term assignments
