Assist the Head of Communications and contribute to the overall strategy goals of the office e.g. school events, outreach programmes, publication, translation and other new initiatives etc.
Plan and implement ISF’s media publicity campaigns
Media Monitoring, local & international media, including printed, online and social media
Manage all internal and external relations and communication work
Handle day-to-day media enquiries and media communications
Work with vendors and other external parties in publicity projects, draft, edit and quality check scripts of all publication projects
Build and manage good relationships with key media contacts and other external parties
Any other assignments assigned by the Head of Communications
Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related disciplines
At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate communications/ journalism; solid experience with media management highly preferred
Savvy of new media
Experienced in planning and implementing strategic communication plan
Ability to build strong relationships with media and can successfully partner with peers and external stakeholders
Good knowledge on local and international media
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), can craft and deliver key messages effectively
Strategic-minded, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
Excellent problem solving skill, detail-minded and multi-tasking
Willing to work overtime or weekends if required
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
