Duties: The appointee will be responsible for the development, implementation and quality assurance for the Basic Competency Assessments; lead a team of officers for the administration of assessment services as well as marking process and conduct seminars and trainings to schools and teachers.
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree with expertise in Chinese Language and a post-graduate teaching qualification;
(b) At least 8 years of working experience preferably in teaching primary/secondary schools;
(c) Familiar with the content and pedagogy of Chinese Language, with knowledge of education assessment, internet and related IT applications;
(d) Possession of a higher degree in a relevant field as well as expertise and experience in education assessment is preferred;
(e) Good organisational skills, communication skills and management skills; and
(f) Good command of both spoken and written in Chinese and English, proficient in Putonghua is an advantage.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
