Job duties and responsibilities

  • To develop, maintain and revise Compliance Policy and Procedures
  • To design and conduct Compliance Monitoring Review
  • To update and implement compliance requirements as published or announced by relevant authorities.
  • To liaise with Regulator for on-site review and off-site question raised
  • To ensure compliance with the obligation relating to the anti-money laundering and the fight against financing of terrorism, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, and,
  • To perform Suspicious Transaction Monitoring review, alert filtering and investigation, if justified.
  • To review material instance of non-compliance, both actual or suspected, and direct corrective actions,
  • To involve in Account Opening Process to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and group policies
  • To involve in Account Opening Process as required by stated protocol
  • To perform on-going review for active accounts
  • To monitor the Group’s Key Regulatory Compliance exposure
  • To prepare / revise Compliance Training materials and deliver the Compliance training to all staff
  • To participate in Project Management initiatives and analytic review


  • University degree in business or a related discipline
  • Minimum of five years' experience in compliance or relevant audit / risk management / project management field
  • With good knowledge of compliance rules, regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines in money lending and banking industry
  • Good writing skills in English and Chinese
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory and analytical skills; self-motivated and independent
