Manager / Assistant Manager V Training & Career Planning

  • Plan, coordinate, implement and review the corporate training programs and activities.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis in alignment with business development plan, as well as career development track for High Potential Employees.
  • Prepare training and development calendar as per yearly plan and ensure the execution is in place
  • Formulate and prepare training materials including lesson plan with clear training objectives and with multi-media design
  • Assess and select external professional training organizations
  • Conduct training courses in effective manner and identify strengths and weaknesses of candidates for further development
  • Work with line management for training courses and in-house trainers development
  • Establish evaluation and follow-up system for each training course so as to ensure the effectiveness and ROI
  • Develop training record system and monitor the staff training and expenses budget
  • Work with training teammates in different regions across Asian countries
  • Plan departmental/functional training budgets, forecast costs and delegate numbers as required by organizational planning and budgeting systems
  • Assist in other ad hoc projects as assigned


  • Degree holder or above in Human Resources Management, Training and Development, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • At least 4 years solid experience in training and development, familiar with full spectrum of training process is a must and experience in Organization Development, Talent Development or Leadership Development.
  • With exposure in tourism or hospitality sector will be an advantage
  • Strong presentation skills and able to develop / conduct trainings in a classroom or web-based setup.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with hand on experience in eLearning course development software, Photoshop, Video-making and editing is preferred
  • A good team player and able to cooperate with different internal and external business parties
  • Good command of spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Excellent relationship building, negotiation, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
