Manager/ Assistant Manager (Agent & Direct Sales) – Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and build different distribution channels, including agent, direct and government sector by establishing and implementing business strategies to achieve the sales targets as assigned
  • Deepen relationships with the agents by conducting regular meetings and trainings to them
  • Participate in all kinds of events/seminar and identify potential clients. Making follow up calls/visits to make these cold leads to become warm or BCT clients.
  • Perform and complete all stages of the sales flow independently, including prospecting, presenting, probing, penetrating and post-servicing
  • Serve selected clients for their pension schemes in compliance with the service standards
  • Handle enquiries and complaints from assigned channel and clients. Acquire a good understanding of client’s needs with a view to enhancing the product and operational capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and departments to ensure a smooth take-on of new and existing clients
  • Perform administrative duties related to the team’s initiatives and generate reports
  • Take up tasks and projects as assigned from time to time


  • Diploma holder or above; preferably university graduate in business discipline
  • Minimum 6 years’ work experience in banking and financial industries; preferably with MPF customer servicing experience
  • Maintain Investment Representative License or having passed the related examinations as approved by SFC from time to time
  • Passed MPF Intermediaries Examination
  • Strong initiative, aggressive, good customer service and result-oriented
  • Good understanding of MPF & ORSO an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office application
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
