Manager / Assistant Manager, Finance (Contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of annual expense budget and regular forecast
  • Perform analytics on management and variable expenses, budgeting, commission payments to agents and brokers and related closing processes
  • Supporting decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful analysis
  • Identifying areas for process improvement via automation, system implementation, streamlining workflows etc
  • Perform any other finance-related duties and special projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, MIS, Finance or related disciplines
  • HKICPA, CFA or relevant professional qualifications is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in insurance industry would be an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter, hands-on, detail-minded, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Macro). Experience with Qlikview / Qlik Sense and SQL Query would be an asset
  • Immediately Available is preferred
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
