Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for faster payment and autopay related tasks, standing instruction, payroll instruction, direct debit authorization and outward cheque clearing;
  • Handle the projects initiation and UAT assigned by team head;
  • Handle enquiries in relation to faster payment, payroll instruction and ECG payment from internal customers;
  • Escalate exceptional / outstanding / suspicious transactions to management team timely and other relevant parties for necessary action;
  • To ensure full compliance of P&Ps, AML, BCP, internal and regulatory policies and requirements all the time;
  • To ensure the agreed service levels, turnaround time, productivity, quality and internal / external relationships with stakeholders and customers are achieved;
  • To contribute or initiate practical suggestions and ideas, such as automation, streamlining, centralization and outsourcing, to transform the operations with aim to achieve high STP, high efficiency, low cost and adequate risk control;
  • To provide professional advices to other divisions regarding payment services �DDA team, e.g. set up and routing of payment gateway and message flows, RFP for new businesses, new product approval etc.;
  • Maintain high quality and adequate risk control and deliver good quality of customer service;
  • Handle the inquiry message via swift system from other banks, react and respond the swift message to counterparties directly;
  • Handle and follow up irregular cases align with the Anti�oney Laundry & compliance regulations and internal policy & procedures, escalate to relevant parties for further action when suspicious hit is found;
  • Adhere and comply with the rules, guidelines and regulatory requirement of the Bank, HKMA, HKAB, etc. pertaining to the operations;
  • Perform other operations activities as assigned
  • Perform ad hoc and other assignments as instructed by Head of Payment Services

Requirements

  • University degree or above
  • At least 2-3 years�experience in bank back office operations with experience in HKICL related products
  • Independent, responsible and self-motivated
  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Well-versed in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Conversant with MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
  • Willing to work overtime & at irregular working hours and on public holidays
