Manager, Corporate Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice to Business Heads across key functions in the regions where our Group operates;
  • Maintain close liaison with countries HR to review existing policies and procedures and ensure all regional and corporate initiatives comply with labour law and align across the region;
  • Manage and support the overall human resources operations, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, budgeting and employee relations / engagement, HR e-newsletter as well as office administration matters;
  • Manage and support HR / corporate-wide programs and/or initiatives e.g. corporate culture, SAP system, best employee program, talent acquisition and management and so forth;
  • Review and develop HR policies and practices; implement new initiatives, ensure compliance with all people policies set by the organization;
  • Serve as a business partner to line management in all Human Resources matters and provide value-added HR services;
  • Implement organizational development initiatives within business units to ensure excellence and coach senior managers through improvement measures;
  • Monitor market trends and conduct analysis to implement retention strategies; promote HR excellence and consistency across the region to ensure best practice;
  • Manage tracking of all movements, probation, reference check, performance evaluation, objective setting and other related tracking;
  • Maintain personal files and HR information system;
  • Manage and update organization charts; and
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects as and when required

Requirements

  • Degree Holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
  • Min. 8 years’ relevant and hands-on experience in multi-national organization preferably in Freight Forwarding Industry, of which at least 4 years’ experience with regional exposure;
  • Proven track record in managing and rolling out HR projects, MNC experience would be a definite advantage;
  • Knowledge in best HR practices, well-versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, other regional employment laws and related regulatory practices;
  • High level of integrity, able to work independently and manage multi-tasks at the same time;
  • Team player and enthusiastic in services and has passion at work;
  • Mature, good team spirit, flexible, customer focus, detail-minded, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Excellent communication, planning, analytical and people management skills;
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
  • Strong PC skills in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; and
  • Immediate available is highly preferable
