Manager, Finance and Human Resources (Hong Kong-based)


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the group and affiliates, such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions
  • Contract outside services for tax advices, auditing, banking, and other financial needs as necessary
  • Bookkeeping and track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Research and plan for minimising financial risk to the company
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
  • Maintaining corporate documents and group structures
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders and executives in formal meetings
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Understand and adhere to tax report and filing complying to financial regulations and legislation
  • Establish and maintain HR procedures and policies are in line with company guidelines and the local labour legislation
  • Employees recruitment, employment and termination procedures
  • Disburse salaries and benefits for nationally recruited staff are in-line with industrial standard and meet the requirements of local labour legislation
  • Ensuring that the correct procedure is followed on disciplinary action and grievance procedures
  • Provide employees with any necessary training, advice, mentoring and coaching on performance management or any other relevant areas of HR management or procedures for their teams are followed and records are kept in accordance with company guidelines and local labour legislation
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by the management


Qualification and Requirements:

  • Holder of Bachelor Degree in relevant subject and/or Certified Public Accountant (or equivalent) 
  • Proficient in MS Office with good command in Chinese and English, both spoken and written
  • 3 years’ solid experience in a financial or Human Resources position
  • Knowledgeable in Hong Kong Labour Ordinance and payroll formulations
  • Responsible with strong organisational skills and the capacity to analyse and prioritize needs
  • Able to work under pressure in fast-pace environment to meet multiple deadlines
  • Good inter-personal skills among employees and able to liaise with external parties to achieve results
