Job Responsibilities:

  • Reports direct to the Deputy Managing Director
  • Leads the HR team in Hong Kong manufacturing operations to provide full spectrum HR services including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and employees’ relations
  • Understands the business objectives and identifies the HR directive to drive / support the achievement of these in partnership with the operations, including organization development, manpower planning, talent management, succession planning and performance bonus
  • Analyses, identifies and develops effective and reliable HR strategies, policies and operation system to support the business development and exceed expectation
  • Engages in the global HR programs and projects to cope with the headquarter HR directives
  • Leads the CSR team to manage CSR and related activities, including to review HR and labor practices as well as social compliance issues to ensure ethical business practices at company and partner operations
  • Assures legal compliance on all HR practices and activities, and fosters the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and code of conduct to align with the headquarter directive
  • Manages the personnel administration work of managerial, PRC expatriate and Japanese expatriate employees including payroll calculation, tax administration and work visa application
  • Leads the administration team to provide office administration, cleaning and security services to the Hong Kong manufacturing site 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years’ HRM experience with at least 5 years at managerial level, preferably with experience in manufacturing field or Japanese company
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Knowledge in Japanese will be an advantage
  • Good Knowledge of HK labor law
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Mature and detail minded
  • High organizing ability and excellent communication skills
  • Immediately available is preferred
