(a) To assist Senior Manager (IT) in overseeing the full cycle of IT and related projects from proof-of-concept, initiation, planning, sourcing and supervision of vendors, implementation and testing to production, maintenance and enhancement;
(b) To maintain IT policies, guidelines, standards, processes and procedures;
(c) To manage information security controls; and
(d) To make recommendations on system enhancement and new solutions in the light of the latest advancement, regulatory changes and best practices in information technology.
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent;
(b) At least six years of post-qualification full-time working experience in the IT field, preferably with solid experience in project management, contract management, vendor management, system integration, office automation. Experience in IT management and tendering preparation process in Government or public organisations would be an advantage;
(c) At least two years of experience in project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2 or PMI’s PMBOK) and system design methodology (e.g. SSADM or Effective SA&D Guide);
(d) Ability to translate needs analysis data into formal designs, and strong organisational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills for effective management of and communication with internal and external resources and stakeholders;
(e) Holder of the PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, CISSP, CISA or CISM certification, or any certifications issued by Microsoft or Cisco would be an advantage; and
(f) Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
Remuneration and Terms
Successful candidate will be offered a three-year contract with a basic salary around HK$60,100 and a cash allowance around HK$3,700 a month. Benefits include paid leave, medical & dental insurance and death & disability insurance. Subject to satisfactory performance, a gratuity will be payable on completion of contract which, when added to the employer’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund scheme, equals 15% of the total basic salary for the contract period. Further contract may be offered subject to service need and performance.
