Manager/ Officer - Customer Information Services Department (Customer Account Investigation/ Processing and Cheque/ Autofund Transfer)

Responsibilities:

Customer Account Investigation

• Manage correspondence, enquiries and orders from regulators, professional bodies or external institutions on customer account information;
• Provide the customer information and related documents to relevant parties in compliance with relevant ordinances / regulations and the Bank’s policies;
• Maintain customer account status in Customer Information System;
• Compile management reports and provide support to branches and departments; and
• Ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Customer Account Processing

• Check account opening documents in compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulatory requirements;
• Maintain up-to-date customer information in the Bank’s customer database;
• Support frontline staff on enquiries related to customer information systems and signature card systems
• Ad hoc tasks/ projects as assigned

Cheque Clearing & Autofund Transfer

• Manage inward/ outward cheque clearing and e-cheque;
• Handle autofund transfer and return, faster payment and mis-transfer of funds;
• Compile management reports and provide support to branches and departments; and
• Ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business;
• 5 years’ solid banking experience;
• Good knowledge in branch/ frontline operation, customer account opening process, cheque clearing processing, electronic fund transfer and/or Faster Payment System related;
• Self-motivated, attentive to details and good communication skill;
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese; and
• Conversant with MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
