Role and Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end management of airline operations system;
  • Develop and execute project plans to materialize system changes as required by the operation;
  • Develop and execute operations strategy related projects;
  • Create and monitor project documents including scope, timeline and risk analysis for operation related projects;
  • Manage and supervise tasks to be completed by internal and external project team members to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Work closely with system vendors to drive fixes and enhancements;
  • Maximize system efficiencies to reduce manual processes;
  • Lead and drive efficiencies to the wider operations department;
  • Report project statuses and results to Head, Asset Management and Operations Strategy;
  • Educate Head, Asset Management and Operations Strategy in making effective decisions regarding change requests and system enhancements.
  • Degree holder or above;
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience, preferably in analysis or project management;
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English; Chinese language is a plus;
  • General knowledge and comfort working with IT systems.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Highly motivated and results driven; not afraid to pursue innovative and creative solutions;
  • Good interpersonal communication, time management and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience and knowledge in airline operations systems (Merlot Aero, Sabre, Rockwell Collins, etc.)
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (Jira);
  • Formal training in Project Management preferred (PMP);
  • Aviation industry experience to be a distinct advantage.
