To assist in the development, implementation and optimisation of business processes resulting in improved efficiency, compliance, service levels and lower costs.

The main responsibilities include continuously developing and improving systems, procedures and processes for operational teams / business functions and support them to run more efficiently and with higher quality.

Job duties:

  • To work across with respective departments to conduct process review and changes to optimise performance of systems and resources
  • To review current business processes to identify areas of improvement and drive necessary changes for better efficiency and quality
  • To review and evaluate operational processes, provide recommendations, and promote business improvement activities to meet market and customer needs
  • To align business processes across Cargo Services Group of companies with the outcome to improve end to end efficiency
  • To lead the development of standard process documentation across the Cargo Services Group of companies
  • To lead in the implementation of new processes in an effective manner, that engages employees and stakeholders
  • To research and prepare best practice quality, continuous improvement and risk management practices


  • University graduate in Industrial Engineering/ Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Operations Management or equivalent
  • Knowledge in Process Improvement/ Project Management/ Change Management is a must and certification is preferable
  • Knowledge in quality assurance processes, principles, practices and procedures is desirable
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in operations management
  • Sound Experience in reviewing and writing operations manuals, standard operating procedures, work instructions, workflows with information collected from actual observation of the operations
  • Experience in implementing visual aids/ automation/ system/ digital solutions to improve productivity and efficiency of operations
  • Experience in performance management with KPI and dashboard setup
  • Experience in conducting training on new working procedures
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes, principles, practices and procedures
  • Computer skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular MS Visio/ Project/ Powerpoint is preferable
  • Strong business sense and logical thinking
  • Capability of working with a group of geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • A self-starter who can demonstrate sound team collaboration
