The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the sourcing processes with best market practices upon all IT related purchases (including IT infrastructure, hardware & software development, IT equipment and Telecom, IT service providers and consulting service). He/she has to ensure the business needs are met in line with operational requirements, cost savings and risk mitigation

The Job:

  • Lead the IT sourcing process  from market research, internal client・s requirements followed by tender process and contract execution
  • Conduct pre-qualification assessment and reference check during tender process
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide comments on the evaluation summary
  • Maintain effective relationship with vendors focusing on cost savings
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to execute the contracts with vendors/suppliers and ensure the procurement activities are engaged in compliance with company guidelines.

The Person:

  • University Bachelor・s  Degree & Above
  • Obtain at least 6+ years・ experience in IT sourcing  and ideally from financial service industry
  • Hands on experience in tendering, purchasing and supply chain function
  • Initiative taking, reliable and assertive
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Capable of building networks with suppliers and service providers
  • Strong analytical and planning ability
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both spoken and written
  • Strong market knowledge upon the responsible categories
  • Knowledge and understanding of contracts and legal clauses
