Manager, Product Development
Job MatcherJob Responsibilities:
- Product Development and Implementation
- Manage the implementation schedule of product development projects and work closely with the project team to deliver the project
- Prepare competitive analysis, draft product concept paper, business case, product specifications, proposal requirements, policy provisions, and product launch booklet
- Review marketing and training materials prepared for new and revamped products
- Carry out user acceptance testing on proposals of new products
- Market Research
- Identify opportunities and threats from within and outside the industry
- Track competitors’ activities and market share
- Perform analysis of competitors’ products
- Research new product ideas and concepts
- Provide management with general market intelligence on competitors’ activities, market developments and market share analysis, such as commentary report on quarterly IA statistics
- Conduct product trainings to internal staffs and handle product queries
- Handle assigned ad hoc projects
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Achievement in LOMA will be an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in product development and market research and at least 3 years’ experience in life insurance industry
- Good knowledge of life insurance products, market and regulatory requirements, project management, problem solving skills and proficiency in using MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
