Located in Hong Kong, BASF’s Asia Pacific headquarters oversees more than 18,000 employees at about 100 production sites and 125 sales offices across the region. In addition to a number of regional business units, the Hong Kong office also houses regional functional units including Corporate Affairs, Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, Management Consulting, Procurement and Supply Chain Services. Objectives of the Position

  • Reporting to Head of Learning & Development Asia Pacific, the incumbent will
    • Drive Learning & Development (L&D) in Asia Pacific to develop employee for now and the future
Job Responsibilities
  • Integrate Leadership Impact in L&D programs by bringing the concept and tools to the region with customization and strategy development
  • Manage the training materials relevant to the roll-out
  • Identify the needs and develop customized solutions to different business units as global and regional L&D project with implementation
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and other HR functions to develop internal communications with the purpose of promoting corporate values, self-learning, use of online resources etc.
  • Collaborate with other HRBPs, Country HR, L&D community to facilitate the delivery of solutions and integration of concepts

  • University degree preferably in Social Sciences, HR Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines; Master degree is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in talent management, learning and development and/or organizational development, with strong project management skill
  • Candidate with strong exposure in consultative approach from external consultancy will be of top priority
  • Experience working in multinational interdisciplinary environment
  • Presentable, self-motivated, sensitive to numbers and with strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English; Mandarin is an advantage
