The Job:

  • Manage the compilation and production of corporate publications (e.g. annual report and newsletters) and videos, from content development, layout design, to coordination with relevant internal and external parties, to ensure high quality outputs.
  • Prepare press release, line-to-take, question-and-answer, speeches for corporate / media events.
  • Handle enquiries and complaints from media, members of public, residents, political parties, government offices, etc.
  • Monitor traditional and online media coverage, and provide reports to keep the management abreast of the current news and forum discussions.
  • Carry out image audit and opinion formers analysis on a regular basis or subject to business needs.
  • Team supervision with adequate coaching to ensure delivery of quality work by subordinates.
  • Plan and organize corporate / media events.
  • Irregular work hours and overtime required.

The Person:

  • Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Translation or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in corporate communication, media and public affairs with sizable organizations, of which at least 3 years in managerial/ supervisory role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills (in both written and verbal Chinese and English).
  • Solid experience in media handling with good media network.
  • Good understanding of public affairs with due sensitivity to political, social and economic environment, especially housing issues.
  • Proven track record in Chinese and English copywriting, and production of publications and videos.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and strong sense of ownership
  • Able to work under pressure and independently.
  • A good team player.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager (Public Affairs)
