You will be responsible for supervising team members to carry out daily settlement function for Fixed Income and derivatives products. Moreover, you will manage daily settlement processing of Fixed Income and Derivatives products to ensure they are processed effectively and efficiently as well as assist Department Head in management reporting, UAT, system enhancement projects or other various projects.
Responsibilities
Supervise trade processing and settlement function for Fixed Income and derivatives products (including Equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, FX derivatives)
Monitor the processing of corporate action and life-cycle events (including interest payment event, option exercise events) regularly
Manage cash, securities and position reconciliation at regular basis
Review regular reports to related stakeholders for regulatory reporting and management reporting
Monitor daily day end control checking
Review and update procedure manual regularly in accordance with bank practice
Liaise with related stakeholders for problem resolution
Drive the team in reengineering projects for continuous process improvement
Manage team productivity and staff performance
Requirements
Degree holder in Banking / Business Administration / Finance is preferred
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Banking or Financial Institution of which 4 years at supervisory level
Sound product knowledge of treasury and investment products
Familiar with EUCLID, CMU, RTGS, SWIFT and related settlement system
Strong people management and project management skills
Good interpersonal and analytical skills
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
