About this company

Reporting to the Senior Manager, System Development, you will be responsible for the development of IT systems for supporting marketing campaign fulfillment, customer messaging gateway and other back-office functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, evaluates and modifies existing complex programs and systems.
  • Consults with business users in order to analyze and identify problems and recommend solutions; develops and implements new complex programs, systems, and/or databases designed to improve business operations.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, and documents complex programs, systems, and/or databases; develops test procedures, coordinates testing; prepares program specifications and documentation; verifies test results for new or modified programs.
  • Assumes responsibility for production support in a maintenance environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior staff.
  • Maintains current technical skills and may begin to develop technical expertise, business knowledge, or managerial skills necessary to progress further.
  • Prepares & reviews change requests and provides production problem support.
  • Preparation of documents of User Requirement, Functional Requirement Specification, Technical Specification and Operation Manual.
  • Acts as project leader of minor projects.
  • Acts as backup to supervisor

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • University degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years related experience in leading sizable IT projects, preferably with knowledge of financial applications
  • Familiar with Web based development using Java/JSP, JMS and capable for OOAD.
  • Knowledge of C/C++, JXTA, ORACLE, PL/SQL and UNIX shell script programming
  • Experience in developing loyalty platform for banking products is an advantage
  • Independent and able to deliver quality results under tight schedule
  • Good team player, strong communication skills, enthusiastic.

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
