Manager, Tax Reporting

Provide tax support to all business units and manage the Group's relationship with revenue authorities and tax advisers in the region; Work closely with Tax Advisory, Finance and various other internal business operations in the Asia region

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax support to all business units and manage the Group's relationship with revenue authorities and tax advisers in the region; Work closely with Tax Advisory, Finance and various other internal business operations in the Asia region
  • Working with a supportive and high performing tax team, your key responsibilities will include managing tax compliance reviews (taxes will include corporate tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes), accurately forecasting tax balances and reviewing biannual reconciliation of income tax expense and deferred tax balances in the Asia region; Required to apply internal tax division policies relating to transfer pricing, foreign tax credits and assisting in the maintenance of transfer pricing documentation

Requirements:

  • Qualified chartered accountant (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience who ideally has some investment banking experience
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of key corporate tax and indirect tax principles and have ideally gained experience within a large commercial organisation or chartered firm
  • Excellent communication and listening skills who also has the ability to develop internal client relationships with members of internal Finance and external relationships with advisors and revenue officers
