Cathay United Bank Company, Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Taiwan’s largest financial group Cathay Financial Holdings. The Bank’s Hong Kong Branch is currently looking for an experienced HR professional to join our Human Resources Department. This is an opportunity for those who would like to develop his/her career further with a bank which is currently growing in Hong Kong.


  • Develop training programs by defining training objectives and content that meet the Bank’s business strategy
  • Arrange and conduct induction program and management training
  • Administer training subsidy applications and training courses enrolment
  • Upkeep training records and update training report regularly
  • Work on career roadmap and talent development
  • Lead and coordinate staff engagement activities
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects from time to time

Candidates are expected to possess:

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • At least 5 years’ solid experience in training & talent development, preferably in banking and finance industry
  • Hands-on experience in delivering training
  • Experienced in course development, design and evaluation
  • Familiar with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Supervisory Policy Manual an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) for Banking Practitioners 
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, with knowledge of video editing will be an added advantage 

This position reports to Head of Human Resources. Selected candidate may be considered for a more senior/junior position depending on their experiences.
