Marketing and Administrative Assistant, Luxury Goods Company

To provide Marketing and Administration support for the brand, reporting to the Managing Director.  This is a 360 degree role, incorporating all elements of brand management, Marketing, PR, e-commerce and sales.  We are looking for a pro-active, organised fast learner with a creative flair and sensitivity to the luxury market to join our team.  Fluent spoken and written English is essential.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Tasks will include:

Administration

  • General office and clerical administration support (arrange couriers, ordering office stationary and supplies. organise printing, sourcing marketing materials and promotional gifts)
  • Manage office inventory
  • Organise couriers and distribute incoming mail
  • Work with key HK accounts ensuring stock is replenished and stock is checked
  • Maintain expenses for Managing Director
  • Banking - Paying in cheques
  • Order office supplies, maintain tidiness of the office
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as required

Marketing

  • Working with the Managing Director and team to help  execute a global marketing and promotional plan
  • Marketing plan to include sampling activities, in store promotions and marketing initiatives and sponsorships
  • Prepare, update and distribute marketing materials to the Global team
  • Work with our design team on presentations and other marketing material
  • Keep brand presentations up to date with latest launches, press coverage and news and share with the team

Online/E-commerce

  • Help manage our online Shopify store and dispatch orders
  • Update our available stock on our Shopify site regularly
  • Pack some local orders from stock in the office
  • Order packing materials for online orders
  • Respond to customer enquiries

PR

  • Opportunity to build PR skills working with Managing Director and team to build brand awareness with journalists in Hong Kong
  • Help arrange PR & press initiatives, updating and sending out press releases to HK and International press
  • Manage database of product images and send to journalists and retailers on request
  • Manage distribution of press coverage to key clients

Requirements:

  • Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin are essential for this role
  • Exemplary organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the luxury market, an interest in luxury, beauty, fragrance
  • Confident and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines working under pressure
  • Solid IT & Customer Relations skills
  • Ability to work as part of a small team with “can do" attitude
  • Friendly personality, neat and presentable
  • Responsible and hard working
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - good telephone and e-mail manner

Experience sought:

  • Possess a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar office role
  • Good knowledge of, and proficiency in, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
