Marketing and PR Officer

  • Liaise with PR agency, local and international media for guests and press accreditations;
  • Establish relationship and liaise with press;
  • Prepare media and barter contracts;
  • Support the Marketing and PR team in all matters related to marketing promotion and publicity activities, events production, and hospitality matters of the Society including but not limited to:
    • Follow up the production of marketing collaterals;
    • Monitor marketing collaterals and inventory;
    • Responsible for marketing logistics;
    • Categorize and update the video and audio library;
    • Update marketing contact database;
    • Handle general marketing enquiries
  • Execute the delivery of media’s and barter’s contracts and entitlements;
  • To manage the librarianship of news clippings;
  • To manage the librarianship of event photos and videos;
  • Assist the team for the development of digital marketing such as marketing strategy and engagement plan;
  • Assist the team to prepare, draft and upload posts and photos for Society’s various social media platforms on a regular basis and after events on IFF website and other social platforms such as Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, Flickr, Twitter, Wikipedia, Instagram & etc.;
  • Conduct research, prepare usable and accurate reports and analyses to management from time to time;
  • Assist the team by provide support such as meeting the sponsors and preparing documents regarding sponsorship when necessary;
  • To work closely with the marketing team and other departments for all marketing, press and sponsorship requirements;
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Marketing and PR team; and
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management from time to time.


  • University degree in /Marketing/Digital Marketing/Design with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or substantial marketing and PR experience with good industry contacts;
  • Proactive, independent, good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge in film industry, video editing, Adobe AI or Photoshop is a plus;
  • Knowledge in social media interface (Facebook, Twitter, Weibo, Instagram, Youtube and etc); and
  • Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods.
