Marketing Automation/Digital Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Automation /Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Global Digital Marketing and will participate in the migration of business lines to our marketing automation platform. The Marketing Automation/Digital Marketing specialist will participate in content editing, designing, developing, and maintaining our public websites emails, landing pages and more.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create HTML emails, landing pages, forms, nurturing and scoring programs, and reports within the marketing automation system.
Design and develop web page layouts, banners, and animations for ecommerce, blogs, mobile sites, etc.
Maintain and update CRM database records.
Ensure the integrity of the data we present in reports. Should be willing to dig into the data and troubleshoot any anomalies.
Update, maintain, and improve data quality of our various databases.
Develop html/CSS based templates based on graphic layouts adhering to best practices for search engine optimization, web browser capability, and accessibility.
Using database tools and/or filters and work with marketers to carve targeted email lists from the marketing database based on: geography, persona, job title, and product/solution focus.
Design and create spreadsheet reports.
Work in our content management system (CMS) updating pages, images, files, and videos.
Edit and update web page layouts, banners, and animations for ecommerce, blogs, adaptive
sites, etc. while adhering to best practices for search engine optimization, web browser capability, and accessibility.
Education, Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and copy editing.
Ability to hand code clean and web standard friendly HTML and CSS (HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge a plus)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
Knowledge of, or desire to learn marketing automation best practices.
A great eye for visual design (layout, color and typography).
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a general office environment, including use of a Windowsbased PC and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
