Marketing Communications Manager

VMA Group Asia Limited

Our client, a luxury diamond brand, is now hiring a Marketing Communications Manager. This role is to be based in Hong Kong and reports directly to Marketing Communications Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement annual plan incorporating marketing initiatives (digital driven) with clear commercial objectives to maximise brand awareness, engagement, and create sales opportunities. Provide assistance to PR whenever necessary.
  • Familiarise with core brand & product messaging and ensure that the content materials are fully and timely utilised on identified media platforms
  • Represent local market to communicate with Central Marketing Teams, and ensure smooth and successful global campaign localization and disseminate information to management and teammates in a timely manner
  • Market analysis: monitor competitor online and offline activities and provide weekly analytics for reference, benchmark and improvement
  • Explore new digital marketing trends, continually search and identify opportunities to enhance digital marketing mix
  • Monitor and renew results according to campaign objectives, tracking campaign ad to determine brand metrics, effectiveness and ensure that designated KPIs are achieved
  • Manage SEM agency on planning, performance tracking & reporting
  • Responsible for E-commerce including planning & implementing; online sales system and site

  • Planning & Organisation – Solid experience in brand marketing and trade marketing together with commercially astute to deliver short-term results with long-term value
  • Decision Making – Competent to manage marketing agencies for quality deliverables
  • Initiating Action – Commercially sensitive to provide stores with emotive yet sales driven creative materials
  • Building Partnership – Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills
  • Adapt an open-minded yet creative attitude to facilitating change
  • Able to get up to speed rapidly, resourceful and remain positive even in tough conditions

Education/Qualifications/Experience

  • Essential

o    Minimum 5+ yrs Marketing (brand) experience

  • Solid FMCG background
  • Strong digital marketing and eCRM experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Understand multi-layered marketing needs
  • Deliver performance based on budget and profitability measures

o    MBA (preferred)

  • Desirable

o    Exposure to retail channels

o    Retail luxury brand experience

o    Retail watch & jewellery experience

o    eCommerce experience
