Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Deliver activities and initiatives that drive the marketing strategy and support functional plans within designated practice groups;
  • You will work closely with the team to support internal and external events including conferences, seminars, road shows, other firmwide initiatives and regional projects;
  • Provide data management, logistics and on-site support for events;
  • Liaise with vendors and ensure all final deliverables are in compliance with brand guidelines and firmwide communications policies;
  • Assist in the production of written literature for events and marketing purposes, ensuring a high professional standard and consistency across all external and internal communications collateral;
  • Work closely with different industry groups on content and thought leadership development, providing research,  data analysis, editing, communications and logistics support for various publications and reports released throughout each calendar year; and
  • Liaise closely with internal media, graphics, web, social media and knowledge management teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive delivery of marketing services.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related disciplines;
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment Experience in managing all aspects of events in line with core brand objectives and strategy;
  • Must be an effective communicator, able to synthesise complex technical material into digestible formats that can engage our target audience; and
  • Prior working experience with people from diverse cultures and in a multi-national organisation is an asset.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal English; fluent in Putonghua and Cantonese preferred but not essential;
  • Well-rounded and creative individual who is able to think outside the box while processing data with care;
  • Good conflict resolution skills displaying a positive and flexible approach to problem solving;
  • Maintains a positive attitude under pressure;
  • A good team player with strong people and time management skills;
  • Ability to lead/drive projects independently while working effectively in a dynamic team; and
  • Previous experience working within a financial institution or within the financial services industry preferred but not essential.
