MARKETING DIRECTOR (EMS)

Responsibilities:

  • Managing client activity by providing strong customer support and proactively seeking to continually develop the business relationship with key customer representatives.
  • Responsible for generation of new sales opportunities in agreed target markets.
  • Responsible for proactively communicating to our customer base on all issues likely to impact their business.
  • Responsible for managing Customer expectations in line with organizational capability.
  • Detailed understanding of all contracts and/or terms and conditions relevant to the Customer portfolio.
  • Develop and manage effective relationships with internal design and manufacturing teams.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Networking proactively and providing market intelligence to the Marketing team on a regular basis
  • Provide guidance and training to all junior members of the marketing team.
  • Monitor and maintain the following on a weekly/monthly basis: Actual Sales, Budgets, Margins, Forecasts.
  • Report on a monthly basis the performance of the Marketing Team against the KPI's as set by the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Identify development requirements in conjunction with HR for the Marketing team.
  • Provide training externally and internally on specific areas relevant to the business.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Marketing/Management/Engineering
  • Over 15 years working experience preferably with EMS industry, preferable in Professional Audio field.
  • Demonstrate a business acumen that can identify new opportunities quicky and successfully sell on key points of opportunity.
  • Work in top tier EMS industry is preferable
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Responsible, analytical, independent, self-motivated with excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Well developed interpersonal skills for effective management.
  • Good problem-solving skills and is comfortable with assessing market/business opportunities.
  • Must be able to produce a compelling argument for customers to engage our services.
