Marketing Executive (social media)

  • Play a key role in translating Global Sources’ business and marketing objectives into social media strategies and plans
  • Devise effective social media PPC campaigns to promote website, features and content to relevant target audience
  • Involved in planning and execution of social media PPC campaigns (including audience research, develop messaging, conceptualizing ads, etc.) to achieve marketing goals
  • Identify, develop and test new social media channels to achieve marketing goals
  • Increase visibility and engagement of company’s social content through paid promotion
  • Regularly track and analyse campaign results to identify opportunities and optimize campaign performance
  • Analyse appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices to improve results
  • Involved in budgeting and monthly review / reporting of campaign results to management


  • Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, New Media)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English
  • Familiar with web and social analytics tools
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and good understanding of major social media channels
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative practices into digital marketing projects
  • Enjoys critical and creative thinking
  • Be a team player and yet be able to work independently
  • Self-driven and highly motivated
