Marketing Executive


The Role

This new position, based at our Hong Kong office and reporting to jointly to our Hong Kong-based Head of Territory and our UK based Senior International Marketing Executive, will play a key role in shaping Superdry’s global presence across our Asia Pacific markets by delivering our marketing strategy, objectives and seasonal plans.

As the key contact for our franchise partners across ten Asia Pacific markets (Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & the Philippines), you will work closely with our customers across the territory, delivering first-class marketing support to Superdry’s wholesale and franchise partners. Our franchise partners commit to spending a percentage of their annual sales turnover on marketing the Superdry brand locally, and this role will focus on helping them achieve this in the most effective and on-brand way possible.

We are looking for an experienced local marketing professional from within our sector, who is passionate and creative and who will drive our ambition to be a truly global digital brand

You will 

  • Execute the global marketing strategy and seasonal plans across APAC markets, encompassing activity such as PR, social media, influencer marketing and experiential/event marketing.
  • Assist franchise and wholesale partners in the creation of 360 degree local marketing campaigns set by the Global Planning team.
  • Develop strong relationships, provide support and maintain continuous communications with partner marketing teams.
  • Work together with the Social, PR, Visual Merchandising and Creative Teams to update on local marketing activity and execute creative and locally relevant campaigns.
  • Deliver detailed campaign presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Representing the view of all Asia customers, compile local market information and present recommendations to the UK Head Office Marketing Department.
  • Be the brand guardian for Asia markets, ensuring retail and online channels have on-brand collateral, and facilitating the immediate removal of all ‘off-brand’ or substandard artwork.
  • Maintain accurate budgets for assigned markets and activities, utilising the international purchasing system to ensure budget tracking. 

You are 

  • Experienced working in a similar local marketing role for a global fashion or retail brand
  • Particularly experienced in online, social and experiential marketing
  • Previously experienced working with international markets throughout the region
  • Knowledgeable about the Superdry brand and how we do our marketing
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, ideally with fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese or another language relevant to our markets
  • Able to work independently, prioritise workload and work under pressure with the ability to multi task
  • Flexible to embrace change and work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Able to quickly identify issues, focusing on solutions and generating alternatives
  • Proactive, results driven with a ‘can do attitude’
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to influence and manage conflicting priorities
  • Passionate about the retail and fashion industries
  • Flexible to travel internationally when required
